Claude Giroux unsuccessfully tries to hug an opponent after he scores

Friendly guy!

Hockey tradition states that as soon as you score a goal, you hug each and every one of your teammates.

If an opposing player happens to be in the way, he gets to join in. Apparently.

Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux added that new wrinkle on Thursday when he scored to put his team up 4-1 on the Nashville Predators in the second period. As the Flyers circled up for the hug, Predators rookie Viktor Arvidsson got in the way.

Naturally, Giroux tried to hug him too!
