The Toronto Maple Leafs brought up a handful of their most talented prospects last week for what seems to be a 10-game tryout. There aren't any intentions of keeping them around the rest of the season.
The Maple Leafs rookies are sniping goals all over the Senators
The kids are alright.

Maybe they should rethink that. Their rookies already look like they belong after two impressive snipes for goals on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. First up was William Nylander, arguably the Leafs' best prospect, firing a perfect slapshot past goalie Craig Anderson for his first career score.

Later in the game, Nikita Soshnikov scored his second career goal with one of the hardest shots you’ll see this season.
Something tells me the Maple Leafs are going to be fun to watch for the next decade or so.
