It took mere minutes for Game 1 between the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders to become a barn-burner.
John Tavares dekes and dangles his way to a beautiful playoff goal
Tavares set up a game-tying goal in the prettiest way in Game 1.

By the end of the first period, both teams had split four goals. But none were as pretty as the Islanders goal that John Tavares set up.
Florida was on the penalty kill, which was their first disadvantage. The second was that Tavares just deked through them like a hot knife through butter before assisting a Frans Nielsen goal to tie the game at 2-2.
Ohhh that's absolutely incredible. #StanleyCuphttps://t.co/c6h9525dSF
