Sharks vs. Kings, 2016 NHL playoffs: Time, TV schedule and live stream

San Jose looks for a 2-0 series lead over their rivals.

The San Jose Sharks have a huge opportunity to bring a 2-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Kings back home for two home games. They just need a win in Game 2 on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. ET to do so.

Scouting the Sharks

As much press as captain Joe Pavelski (deservedly) received for his Game 1 performance, goalie Martin Jones was no slouch either. Jones is facing his former team in his first Stanley Cup playoff series, and he stopped 21 shots against in his first win. Most importantly, he was perfect in a third period where the Kings outshot the Sharks 10-3. As long as he matches Jonathan Quick on the other end of the rink, the Sharks have a good chance of advancing.

Scouting the Kings

Los Angeles was uncharacteristically sloppy in its own end in Game 1, leading to hesitancy that burned them more often than not. Whether injured defenseman Alec Martinez plays in Game 2 is up in the air, as he didn't participate in an optional skate on Friday. Los Angeles has mounted 3-0 series comeback wins over the Sharks before, but it can't count on doing that every time. A bounce-back in Game 2 is a must.
