Scouting the Panthers
Roberto Luongo challenged himself to do better after a disappointing Game 1 loss, and he answered the call in a big way in Game 2 with 41 saves and a win. It was his first playoff win in his last seven tries, which could be a huge confidence boost to a Panthers squad with little playoff experience. Florida will hope for more production from Reilly Smith and Nick Bjugstad, who accounted for two of their biggest goals on Friday.
Scouting the Islanders
They'll lean on John Tavares for all he's worth. The Islanders' captain is one of the (very) early frontrunners for the Conn Smythe Trophy with two goals and four points in his first two playoff games. Tavares is tied with Phil Kessel, Jonathan Toews and Tyler Johnson for most shots by one player with 11.
