Blues vs. Blackhawks, NHL playoffs 2016: Time, TV schedule and how to watch live online

How to watch Game 4 between St. Louis and Chicago.

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues shocked the Blackhawks with a Game 3 win to take control of the series on Sunday. Chicago will have to use home ice to their advantage to even the series before it heads back to St. Louis. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Scouting the Blues

A strong power play that went 2-for-3 in Game 3 will be tested after the Blackhawks let the game slip after too many bad penalties. The last two contests were decided by a 3-2 score, with goaltending as the X factor in this series. Brian Elliott has stopped 109 of 113 shots in this series, and 44 alone in Game 3. Elliott will have to be on his game again in Game 4 as the Blackhawks will most likely throw everything plus the kitchen sink at him in order to even the series.

Scouting the Blackhawks

After a game-changing double minor by Patrick Kane that helped the Blues to a win, the Blackhawks will have to be more aware of their sticks and surroundings in Game 4. Corey Crawford has been more than up to the task of stealing a game in this series, and will have to be the backbone of the team for Chicago to even the series. Big names like Jonathan Toews and Andrew Ladd, who have yet to score goals in the series, are primed for breakout games in such a pivotal match.
