Wild player knocks his own pass out of the air for a goal

Charlie Coyle has some great hands, you guys.

The Wild have shockingly been going stride for stride with the Stars, and Charlie Coyle's electric go-ahead goal is just the latest big moment for Minnesota.

Coyle received a breakout pass from Jason Zucker one-handed, but was unable to control the puck thanks to the Stars defender trailing behind him. The Wild forward chipped the puck ahead of him, and instead of it flying out of his reach, he batted it back down with the back of his stick before potting it for the 2-1 score.

That takes some incredible hand-eye coordination to flag down the puck in the air and hit it just enough for it to settle, all the while trying to shake off the defender behind him to find the time to make those final moves.

Too bad the Stars tied the game up just mere minutes later, but what a goal this was.
