Sharks vs. Kings, 2016 NHL playoffs: Time, TV schedule and live stream

San Jose leads the best-of-seven series three games to one.

The San Jose Sharks can exorcise their 2015 playoff demons by eliminating the Los Angeles Kings on Friday. Puck drop is at 10:30 p.m. ET on CNBC.

Scouting the Sharks

The winning formula for San Jose is easy. Just keep unloading on the power play. The Sharks' power play was a bonafide shooting gallery in Game 4 to the tune of three goals (including the game-winner). Brent Burns leads all playoff defensemen with 18 shots. The Sharks haven't lost in four games at Los Angeles all season.

Scouting the Kings

Los Angeles reviewed their special teams strategies during practice on Thursday, looking to improve a penalty kill that ranks among the worst in the playoffs. They’ve been able to score at a 23.1-percent clip on the man advantage, good enough for sixth best in the league. But the inability to score when opportunities arise at even strength is catching up to them.
