NHL playoffs 2016, Islanders vs. Lightning live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Game 2 online

With a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 on Saturday afternoon, the New York Islanders can head home with a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoff series. Puck drop is at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Scouting the Islanders

John Tavares continued his Conn Smythe pace in Game 1, registering a goal and an assist in the win. The Islanders stormed out of the gates with three first-period goals, and the Lightning looked on their heels the rest of the game. The other key was that they stayed out of the box, earning and killing only two penalties all game.

Scouting the Lightning

Ben Bishop played his worst playoff game as a Lightning, surrendering four goals on 13 shots. He'll be back in net, but the absence of injured defenseman Anton Stralman is starting to stretch Tampa Bay's defensive prowess thin. Steven Stamkos skated this week but isn't expected back in the lineup anytime soon.
