Scouting the Penguins
The biggest advantage the Lightning held over the Penguins was that Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin were both struggling offensively. Tampa Bay hopes Crosby's overtime winner in Game 2 (his first in eight games) doesn't open the floodgates. The rest of the team is picking up the slack, anyways: the Penguins are out-shooting the Bolts 76-41 through two games.
Scouting the Lightning
Whether Steven Stamkos returns is obviously still up in the air. Anton Stralman's return from injury in Game 2 was a mixed bag, so the Lightning will look for improvement from him. You can't fault their goalie for the Game 2 loss: Andrei Vasilevskiy was brilliant with 38 saves despite the loss. He'll likely get the start again.
