Jason Spezza capitalizes on miserable Blues defense for beautiful toe-drag goal

This is... bad.

Brian Elliott has had a rare off night in goal. As a matter of fact, all of the Blues are having off nights.

The Stars, facing elimination, got themselves up by two goals in the game's opening minutes. To add insult to injury, the Blues took a late penalty that allowed the Stars to add on to their lead and chase Elliott from net in the process!

The gorgeous stick handling on the goal by Jason Spezza is slightly overshadowed by Jay Bouwmeester flat-tiring himself while defending Colton Sceviour along the boards. The fall gives Spezza a chance to walk right in through the slot, toe dragging defenders and all before potting the third goal of the period.

That, my friends, is some ugly hockey.
