Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final is in the books and the Penguins hold a 1-0 series lead thanks to Nick Bonino's late goal. The Sharks look to even the series in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night with Game 2's puck drop scheduled at 8 p.m. on NBCSN.

How to watch Game 2 between San Jose and Pittsburgh.

Scouting the Sharks
San Jose was unable to play a 60-minute game on Monday as it was unprepared for Pittsburgh's explosive and dominant speed. The Sharks battled back and controlled the game in the second, but those first 20 minutes were the difference in the loss. Martin Jones stopped 38 shots and kept the Sharks buoyant enough until the very end. Patrick Marleau also won't be suspended for his hit on Bryan Rust, so the Sharks won't be down a man headed into Game 2.
Scouting the Penguins
Rust is day-to-day after the hit from Marleau, so there's no word as of Wednesday morning if he will be starting in Game 2. The Penguins continued to get contributions from their youth, as both Rust and Conor Sheary got goals in the first period that opened the 2-0 lead. Matt Murray continued to be excellent in goal with only one hiccup on Marleau's wrap-around goal.
