The Penguins are leading 1-0 after the first period in Game 6, but we may have had a different outcome if Chris Kunitz didn't perfectly swipe away Joel Ward's breakaway.
Chris Kunitz saved a goal with the best backcheck of his hockey career
Ward may not be the fastest player, but Kunitz caught up to him like he was shot out of a cannon. Not only that, Kunitz avoided a penalty by perfectly timing his stick swipe to catch the puck instead of Ward himself.
For someone who is supposedly Sidney Crosby's set up man, Kunitz put his stamp on a big moment in a Stanley Cup clinching game for the Penguins.
