Michal Neuvirth’s brilliant blocker stop goes in vain thanks to Team Canada’s explosive offense
Canada is too good, you guys.
It's probably most unfair to Czech Republic goaltender Michal Neuvirth, who is standing tall in net against the Canadians despite the 5-0 deficit at the end of the second. Neuvirth even made this incredible turnaround blocker stop against Steven Stamkos that marks the clear save of the tournament after one day.

However, thanks to the unending firepower of Canada, the effort was all for naught moments later as Jonathan Toews made their fifth goal of the night look absolutely effortless.

Sometimes that’s just how the cookie crumbles and the Czech Republic isn’t going to be the last to run into this train of a Canadian offense.
