The 2017 NHL All-Star Game rosters are here, full of familiar names and a few newcomers.
NHL announces 2017 All-Star Game rosters
Plenty of fresh names to go around this season.
The NHL announced the rosters on Tuesday a week after closing the fan vote and revealing the captains for each team. The format is the same as last year, with players split up into four teams by division in a 3-on-3 tournament. Connor McDavid, Carey Price, Sidney Crosby, and P.K. Subban will serve as captains when the game begins on Jan. 29 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
The four head coaches this year are determined by the teams leading the divisions at the time of the announcement, so Bruce Boudreau of the Minnesota Wild (Central Division), John Tortorella of the Columbus Blue Jackets (Metropolitan Division), Peter DeBoer of the San Jose Sharks (Pacific Division), and Michel Therrien of the Montreal Canadiens (Atlantic Division) will man the benches.
