Anze Kopitar’s dog came to the Kings game to cheer him on

Talk about sup-paw-ort from man’s best friend!

Nothing can separate a boy and his dog. Not even a hockey game. Anze Kopitar may have had a hockey game Saturday afternoon, but his dog Gustl joined fans in the stands as the Kings took on the Wild.

Gustl, a golden retriever poodle mix, has been with Kopitar for a few years now. The Kings’ captain has taken Gustl to practice, and shared a meal out of the Stanley Cup together when Los Angeles won in 2014.

Kopitar had a pretty good game on Saturday too, as the captain assisted on Tanner Pearson’s game-winning goal in overtime. Not bad!
