Outdoor hockey may be the best hockey.

Despite frigid temperatures and a Senators owner who wouldn’t get out of his own way before the celebrations even began, the scene in TD Place Stadium in Ottawa was as magical as any NHL outdoor game. Craig Anderson had a 28-save shutout in the 3-0 victory, Erik Karlsson was a beast with almost 33 minutes played, and he gave us a little dance to cap it all off.
As has become tradition, we rounded up the best pictures from the event for your viewing pleasure. Though there was no snow, as in some previous outdoor games, the night was a nice moment of reprieve for the city of Ottawa and a wonderful sight to behold.
