NHL playoffs schedule 2017: Thursday’s times, TV channels, radio, and how to live stream
Playoff debuts for young superstars are all the rage this year.

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid got his time in the limelight on Wednesday, but Thursday evening offers the first Stanley Cup playoffs glimpse at likely NHL rookie of the year Auston Matthews. His Toronto Maple Leafs visit the Washington Capitals to begin their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.
Odds will tell you the Leafs don’t stand much of a chance against the Presidents’ Trophy winners, but the youngest team in the NHL might just surprise you.
Stay up late enough on Thursday and you’ll be treated to a heated Game 1 between the Calgary Flames and Anaheim Ducks. The Pacific Division rivals were involved in a kerfuffle last week, so tensions are already high.
Sandwiched between those two games is Game 1 with the Predators and Blackhawks. The first Central Division series thrilled us last night, so no pressure guys.
