We’re hours away from the 2017 NHL entry draft from the United Center in Chicago, where the Vegas Golden Knights will make their first three first-round picks in franchise history.

Yes, three. After two expansion draft moves with the Winnipeg Jets and New York Islanders, the Knights will pick sixth, 13th, and 15th overall in the first round on Friday evening. It’s the first time an NHL expansion team has had more than one first round pick in their first draft.

But first, the New Jersey Devils will get their pick of the litter at first overall. For months, the thought was either Nolan Patrick or Nico Hischier would go first overall. But recent rumblings have indicated the Devils might go off the board with the pick, letting Nico and Nolan slip to the Philadelphia Flyers and Dallas Stars at second and third overall, respectively.

We’ll see. For now. here’s the order for the first round. You can follow our live draft tracker right here.
