Here’s Matt Murray’s very good hockey dog with the Stanley Cup

This dog is a championship-worthy dog for sure.

The Stanley Cup is currently making the rounds with Pittsburgh Penguins players as the NHL’s offseason continues. On Sunday, it was goaltender Matt Murray’s turn with the Stanley Cup — it’s his second championship despite being a rookie last season — and his very good hockey dog joined him in celebration:

The dog, a Newfoundland named Beckham Murray, has incredible form when presumably drinking from inside the bowl of the Stanley Cup. We rank that 13/10, would absolutely pet.

You can also follow Beckham’s adventures on his Instagram to brighten your days to come with some great hockey dog pictures and videos, like this one of him snatching Murray’s goaltender mask and taking it for some cuddle time:

We have had some incredible hockey dogs in the past, and Murray’s success on the ice has brought us yet another one into the fold. So congratulations, Murray, and also to you, Beckham, for your fun time with the Stanley Cup!
