Ben Bishop may have a new home for the upcoming hockey season, but he’s brought the glow-in-the-dark paint with him. Over the weekend, professional artist David Gunnarsson unveiled Bishop’s new mask for the Dallas Stars, who traded for the goaltender back in May, and it heavily features glow-in-the-dark neon.

Most importantly, it features a glow-in-the-dark outline of the state of Texas.
The mask, black with electric neon green line art of the state of Texas and the Stars logo, is almost identical to the one he wore with the Tampa Bay Lightning and his brief time with the Los Angeles Kings last season.
Gunnarsson has been working with Bishop for years on his masks, and the original one for the Lightning was inspired by the movie TRON.

It’s quite sad that hockey isn’t played in dimmer light, so we could see Bishop’s glow-in-the-dark mask to its full extent. But hey, at least Bishop has kept up the tradition through his time with three different teams! That’s quite some dedication to a look that has become almost uniquely his own.
