NHL free agency opened on Tuesday at noon in really intriguing class. It’s light on star-power, with a lot of valuable role players in their stead. That’s let to teams trying to wade through everything and decide whether it’s right to strike now and try to win, or hold some of their assets for 2026, when a ludicrous free agency crop is set to hit the market, potentially headlined by Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel.

Mitch Marner was the biggest name in 2025, and he was wrapped up before free agency began with the Maple Leafs sending Marner to the Golden Knights in a sign-and-trade. Here’s a list of every signing in free agency thus far.
