Since getting off to a slow 1-3 SU and ATS start, the Carolina Panthers have emerged as one of the NFL’s best teams.
NFL computer picks: Week 12 betting favor Carolina, Denver to cover spreads
The Odds Shark prediction computer has struggled lately but has a bead on some underdog plays and some public favorites who will cover the Week 12 NFL spread.

Going a perfect 6-0 SU and ATS in their last six games including wins over San Francisco and New England, the Panthers look like the real deal.
Carolina’s hot streak could continue this Sunday as the Panthers visit the Miami Dolphins as a 4.5-point road favorite. Carolina is projected to win this game by a score of 28.3 to 17.6, according to the Odds Shark NFL picks computer, which would give the Panthers their seventh straight win both SU and ATS.
With a 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS record over their last four games, the New York Giants have played their way back into the NFC East division race. The Giants are a 2.5-point favorite at home Sunday hosting the Dallas Cowboys in a key divisional battle.
While a quick view of the NFL betting lines shows oddsmakers are listing New York as the favorite, the computers see this game differently, projecting Dallas to win outright by a score of 24.1 to 16.7.
Another outright upset projected by the computers this week is the Indianapolis Colts over the Arizona Cardinals. Indianapolis goes into Arizona as a 2.5-point road underdog, but is predicted to win by a score of 23.7 to 21.
Projected out to a staggering 69.5 points of total offense, Sunday night’s Denver Broncos at New England Patriots game is expected to be the highest scoring game of the week and to go easily over the posted total of 54 points.
Denver is a 3-point road favorite in this showdown, and would cover the spread if the projected score of 38.8 to 30.7 was accurate.
The UNDER could be the play when the Jacksonville Jaguars visit the Houston Texans. With Houston being projected to win by a score of just 13.5 to 3.7, the 17.2 combined points in this game would go well under the posted total of 43.5 points.
In a key game in the race for the final AFC Wild Card spot, the New York Jets visit the Baltimore Ravens as a 3.5-point road underdog. Baltimore is expected to win and cover by a score of 19.8 to 12.3.
