NHL betting: Anaheim Ducks continue to beat the odds
Anaheim keeps beating the hockey odds and rewarding NHL bettors with huge profits. But the Ducks face tough challenges this week against the Canucks, Blues and Blackhawks.

Anaheim Ducks have been virtually unstoppable all season long, putting together the NHL’s best record at 35-8-5 while remaining unbeaten in regulation at home with a 19-0-2 record at the Honda Center this season.
Anaheim is 17-1 SU over its last 18 games and starting goaltender Jonas Hiller is 14-0 over his last 14 starts.
Anaheim’s hot streaks will be put to the test this week with a tough three games in four nights stretch hosting the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday (where the NHL betting lines project them as -160 chalk) and then visiting the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday and the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.
Anaheim has enjoyed recent success against all three of these teams with a 5-2 SU record in its last seven games against Vancouver, a 5-0 record in its last five against Chicago, and a 4-1 record in its last five against St. Louis.
Alexander Ovechkin is running away with the NHL’s goal scoring title this season with 32 goals in 43 games, currently seven goals ahead of anyone else in the race. Ovechkin’s Washington Capitals are just 2-2-3 over their last seven games and will try to get back on track Tuesday night hosting the San Jose Sharks.
In 17 meetings between these two teams since 1999, San Jose is 16-1 SU against the Washington Capitals, according to the NHL database at Odds Shark.
After hosting Washington on Tuesday night, the Capitals head on the road to take on the Eastern Conference leading Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night. Pittsburgh is 19-3-0 at home this season and a perfect 5-0 SU in its last five games against the Washington Capitals.
While Sidney Crosby trails Alexander Ovechkin in goals with 25 this season, he leads the league in points with 67.
On Thursday night the Detroit Red Wings visit the New York Rangers. Detroit used to dominate this series with a 12-1 SU record in 13 meetings from 1999 to 2011, but the Rangers have won each of their last two games against the Red Wings.
In a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup final, the Chicago Blackhawks host the Boston Bruins on Sunday. This is the first time the two teams have met since the series, which Chicago won in six games.
Both teams rate in the top five betting choices on odds to win the Stanley Cup menu currently.
