Los Angeles Kings vs San Jose Sharks betting odds, prediction, trends
Los Angeles lost at Dodger Stadium Saturday to continue its NHL betting swoon. They visit San Jose, aiming to creep back up the Stanley Cup odds list this week.

The Kings have lost five straight games on the NHL moneyline and are 1-10 SU in their last 11 games away from Staples Center. The Kings are a +140 road underdog visiting the San Jose Sharks Monday night.
San Jose is a -160 favorite hosting their division rivals. San Jose has won six straight games overall and is 19-2-3 at home this season. The Sharks are also 9-0 SU in their last nine home games against the Kings.
Things don’t get any easier for the Kings as the week goes on as they wrap up their road trip Tuesday night against the Phoenix Coyotes and then return home to host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday and the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
The Stanley Cup odds picture could be different by this time next week if the Kings’ swoon continues. They have fallen down to +1200 on the Cup futures list at 5Dimes.eu.
The Flyers will also be in action on Tuesday night when they host the Detroit Red Wings. The Flyers have lost four straight games but are still in the thick of the playoff race in the crowded Metropolitan Division. Philadelphia is 4-2 SU in its last six games against the Red Wings.
The outdoor Stadium Series continues Wednesday at Yankee Stadium as the New York Rangers take on the New York Islanders. The Rangers played great on the Yankee Stadium ice Sunday afternoon defeating the New Jersey Devils 7-3.
The Islanders are just 4-8 SU in their last 12 games against the Rangers but have won each of the last two games in this head-to-head series.
The Chicago Blackhawks face a tough pair of road games this week visiting the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night and the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night. Chicago has struggled in both of these buildings in recent years with a 3-7 SU record in its last 10 road games against the Canucks and a 1-4 SU record in its last five trips to the Shark Tank.
On Thursday night, the Boston Bruins host the hated rival Montreal Canadiens. Boston had won five straight games in this series, but Montreal has broken that streak with a current four-game winning streak of its own.
