Last year, as the Baltimore Ravens rushed onto the field to celebrate their Super Bowl victory, many prop bettors were anxiously waiting to see what color of Gatorade coach John Harbaugh would be doused with.
Super Bowl props: Gatorade shower has clear betting choice
The Gatorade prop is one of the most popular Super Bowl bets and ‘clear’ is the clear betting choice for Super Bowl 48.

But for the first time since Super Bowl 36, there was no Gatorade bath in 2013 and therefore no winners or losers in the annual Super Bowl Gatorade prop. Will this year’s winning head coach be doused in Gatorade in the chilly winter weather of New Jersey?
If so, the betting favorite on the color of the liquid poured on his head is clear, going off at 2/1, according to NFL props at Sports Interaction. Clear liquid was used in four straight head coach baths from Super Bowl 39 to Super Bowl 42, but hasn’t been seen over the last five years.
Two of the last four Super Bowl coaches that received Gatorade baths were covered in orange Gatorade, which is going off at 3/1 along with yellow, which was last used by the Pittsburgh Steelers after Super Bowl 43.
Rounding out the betting options are red Gatorade at 5/1, blue Gatorade at 7/1 and green Gatorade at 10/1. If the Super Bowl winning coach doesn’t receive a Gatorade bath, wagers will be graded as no action.
