Arizona Wildcats vs Utah Utes betting odds, Pac 12 preview

The Arizona Wildcats are just 1-7 ATS over their last eight games and have lost two of their last four games outright.

Arizona will try to get things back on track as a 4.5-point road favorite Wednesday night on the road against the Utah Utes.

Arizona was considered by many to be the clear-cut No. 1 team in college basketball through the first two months of the season, dominating opponents with an 18-0 SU and 13-4 ATS record through its first 18 games.

But since then the Wildcats are 1-7 ATS and 2-2 SU over their last four games. The Wildcats are still undefeated at home but have lost in each of their last two road games as a 5.5-point road favorite at ASU and a 6-point road favorite at California (per closing lines at 5Dimes.eu).

Utah will attempt to hand Arizona its third straight road loss and should enter the game feeling confident at home. The Utes are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS over their last five home games including an upset over the UCLA Bruins in January.

Utah has been an excellent bet ATS all season with a 15-5 ATS record to go along with its 17-8 SU record. Utah is 7-2 ATS as an underdog this season.

The Arizona Wildcats have trended heavily towards the UNDER all season with 19 of their 24 games featuring a combined score going UNDER the total. Each of Arizona’s last seven games has gone UNDER the total including its last game against the Utah Utes.

Utah hasn’t beaten Arizona outright since 1998. Arizona is a perfect 8-0 SU in eight meetings since then including a 5-0 SU record against Utah since the Utes joined the Pac-12 in the 2011-12 season.

The Utes have held the ATS advantage over Arizona over that span though with a 4-0 ATS record in the last four games between these two teams.

Arizona has been the victim of two straight court-stormings on the road and should be plenty motivated on Wednesday to end that run. But with the way these two teams are playing of late, this projects as a very good conference rivalry game.
