Wichita State is a small favorite to remain one of only two unbeaten teams in the country. They are -4.5 at Indiana State, according to the NCAA basketball odds menus.

The Shockers are a 4.5-point road favorite on Wednesday night against arguably their toughest remaining regular season challenge, the Indiana State Sycamores.
In the 2013 NCAA Tournament, the Shockers were one of the biggest surprises in college basketball, making it all the way the Final Four before losing there to the eventual champion Louisville Cardinals 72-68.

This year, Wichita State is proving that the 2013 run was no fluke with a 23-0 SU and 14-5-1 ATS record so far this season. The Shockers have dominated inferior competition all year long, with double-digit wins in six straight games and in 11 of their last 12. They rank 11th in the nation in defense, allowing just 59.5 points per game.
The Indiana State Sycamores are second in the Missouri Valley standings with an 8-2 SU conference record and a 17-5 SU and 10-10 ATS overall record, per closing NCAA hoops lines at 5Dimes.eu. All five of Indiana State’s losses this season have come on the road or at a neutral location.
At home, the Sycamores have played considerably better with an 8-0 SU and 4-3 ATS record. Senior Guard Jake Odum is the team’s best offensive weapon, leading the Sycamores in points per game (12.3), rebounds per game (4.4) and assists per game (4.8).
Indiana State is hoping that the change in location makes a huge difference in this head-to-head matchup. When the two teams met in January at Wichita State, the Shockers won and covered easily as 11-point favorites in a 68-48 blowout.
Wichita State is 11-2 SU in its last 13 games against Indiana State, but holds just a slim ATS edge over that stretch at 7-6 ATS. The total has gone UNDER in each of the last four games between these two Missouri Valley rivals.
This game may be decided on the boards, where Wichita State ranks 17th in the nation with 39.8 rebounds per game and Indiana State ranks 283rd with 32.8. The Sycamores will need to shoot well on Wednesday to offset this advantage and try to pull off the upset at home.
