The Indianapolis Colts are a perfect 6-0 SU and ATS over their last six games against the Denver Broncos, but the Colts are a big underdog to keep that winning streak alive on Sunday night going off as a 9-point underdog in Denver.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos betting odds preview, Sunday Night Pick
The Colts always seems to beat the Broncos but this is different. The spread keeps climbing in favor of Denver in Week 1 odds.

While a case could certainly be made for the Colts as a quality team receiving nine points on the spread, Denver is too strong on offense at home to go against, especially when it doesn’t have to lay double digits.
Denver -9 looks like the play this Sunday night, especially if the number keeps climbing.
Odds Shark Computer Prediction: 34-27 Broncos
Since September 30 of the 2012 season, the Denver Broncos are 13-1 SU and 10-4 ATS in 14 regular season home games. Denver won all 13 of those games by at least a touchdown and 12 of the 13 by eight points or more.
The Broncos have averaged 37.1 points per game over their last 14 regular season home games and allowed only 18.6 points per game, winning these games by an average margin of victory of 18.5 points per game.
Indianapolis hasn’t fared too well as a road underdog in recent seasons, either. The Colts are 4-19 SU and 9-14 ATS in their last 23 games as an underdog away from home.
To make matters worse for the Colts heading into Sunday night’s game, Indianapolis is 0-6 ATS in its last six season openers compared to Denver’s mark of 5-1 ATS in its last six season openers at home.
Andrew Luck and the Colts were able to outshoot Peyton Manning in his return to Indianapolis last season, upsetting the Broncos 39-33 at home. But on the road, beating Manning and the Broncos again will be a much taller task.
After falling short in the Super Bowl in embarrassing fashion last season, the Denver Broncos clearly have a chip on their shoulder coming into this season. A strong 3-1 SU and ATS preseason suggests that the team is willing to put in the work to get over the top this year.
And what could be a big season for the Broncos likely starts with a win and cover over the Colts as a 7.5-point favorite on Sunday night.
