The Cleveland Cavaliers are 7-1 straight up and against the spread in their last eight games at home. The Cavaliers host the Warriors in Game 6 on Thursday night hoping to stave off elimination in the NBA Finals.
Warriors vs. Cavaliers odds, NBA Finals 2016: Cleveland betting favorite for Game 6 Thursday
The Cleveland Cavaliers can extend the NBA Finals to seven games with a home win over the Golden State Warriors as small betting favorites.

Cleveland is a 2-point home betting favorite for Game 6 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This is the same number that the Cavaliers were favored by in Game 4's 108-97 loss.
Facing elimination, Cleveland’s best players rose up to the challenge in Game 5. Kyrie Irving and LeBron James each scored 41 points, becoming the first pair of teammates to score 40 points in a game in NBA Finals history.
Each time that Golden State tried to get back in the game in the second half, Irving or James would respond with a big play to take the crowd back out of it. The Cavaliers went on to win the game 112-97 as a 5.5-point road underdog.
In the team's last three games against Golden State, Cleveland is 2-1 SU and ATS after going 0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS in its previous seven games against the Warriors per the OddsShark NBA Database.
The Warriors were in the game at halftime with both teams tied up at 61-61. Pulling away in the second half has been the Warriors’ strength at home all season long, but the opposite happened on Monday night as Cleveland stayed hot on offense while the Warriors cooled down.
Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 62 points, but it wasn’t enough as the rest of the team scored only 35. Golden State is 7-3 SU and ATS in its last 10 games as a betting underdog.
Thursday night's total is set at 207.5 points. The UNDER is 3-1-1 through the first five games of this series.
The Cavaliers have looked like a completely different team in Games 3 and 5 than they have in the rest of the series, playing aggressively and hitting their shots to overwhelm the Warriors on defense. Draymond Green’s return in Game 6 should help the defensive front for Golden State, but the Quicken Loans Arena will be a very hostile environment for the Warriors on Thursday night.
