Stipe Miocic has won each of his last three fights in the heavyweight division, including a knockout win against Fabricio Werdum in his last fight to win the UFC heavyweight championship. The champion will defend his title in the main event of UFC 203 against Alistair Overeem this Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio.

The UFC heavyweight title will be on the line when favorite Stipe Miocic fights underdog Alistair Overeem at UFC 203 in Cleveland on Saturday.

Miocic is a -145 betting favorite to win this bout at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Each of Miocic’s last three victories have come by knockout, with each of the last two coming in the first round. The powerful striker enters this match with a 15-2 career record as a professional with 11 knockout wins.
Overeem is a seasoned veteran with 56 career professional fights under his belt, holding a pro record of 41-14 with one no contest. Since losing three of his first five fights in the UFC, Overeem has made adjustments to his strategy to conserve more energy early in fights, and it has paid off to the tune of four straight wins.
Going off at +115 to win this main event, Overeem has an excellent shot at an upset if he can avoid a knockout.
UFC fans will be treated to another heavyweight bout in the co-main event as former champion Fabricio Werdum (-225) takes on Travis Browne (+175). Werdum had won six straight fights in the UFC before having that streak ended by Miocic in what was just the second knockout loss of Werdum’s career. Browne has lost three of his last five fights, including a decision loss to Werdum back in April of 2014.
Phil “CM Punk” Brooks is finally set to make his long-awaited MMA debut at UFC 203, going off as a +300 underdog against Mickey Gall in a welterweight bout. Gall is 2-0 as a professional and is a -400 favorite on the UFC 203 betting lines against the former WWE star.
Other fights on the card include Jimmie Rivera (-125) vs. Urijah Faber (-105), Jessica Andrade (-145) vs. Joanne Calderwood (+115), Jessica Eye (-140) vs. Bethe Correia (+110) and Brad Tavares (-185) vs. Caio Magalhaes (+150). Jimmie Rivera is 19-1 over his professional career with a 3-0 record so far in the UFC.
