UFC 216 odds: Betting preview, favorites, and analysis for Las Vegas card on Saturday
Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee meet in the main event of the UFC 216 card this Saturday night in Las Vegas, with Ferguson getting the nod as the betting favorite at the sportsbooks.

The 33-year-old Ferguson is a -225 favorite in Las Vegas at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. After earning submission victories in four of his previous five fights, Ferguson went the distance and earned a unanimous decision win over Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night 98. This will be Ferguson’s first action since November 2016 since his bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 209 was canceled due to his opponent’s illness.
Kevin Lee (+175) has a 16-2 record as a professional and has won five straight fights, scoring submission victories in each of his last three. The 24-year-old has quickly climbed the ranks of the lightweight division, and will try to solidify himself as the No. 1 contender to face Conor McGregor with an upset in this one.
Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in MMA. Johnson hasn’t lost since 2011 and has successfully defended his flyweight title 10 times, tying the all-time UFC record for most title defenses.
He will have a chance to break that record Saturday as a large -1200 betting favorite against Ray Borg (+700). Borg is a good fighter and a strong prospect in the flyweight division, but he’ll be up against one of the all-time greats in this one.
Before that flyweight title fight takes place, two heavyweights will duke it out when former champion Fabricio Werdum (-260) faces Derrick Lews (+200). At 40 years old, Werdum is trying to bounce back from a slump in which he’s lost two of his last three fights including a match against Alistair Overeem at UFC 213. Lewis had won six straight fights before getting knocked out by Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 110 in June.
Rounding out the main card are matches of Kalindra Faria (-200) vs. Mara Romero Borella (+160) and Beneil Dariush (-230) vs. Evan Dunham (+180). Dunham has won four straight fights since losing seven of his previous 10.
