The No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are 4-1 straight up and against the spread in their last four games coming off a loss. After picking up a blowout loss last Saturday to Miami, the Fighting Irish hope to rebound this Saturday at home against the Navy Midshipmen.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish
With a 41-8 loss on the road to the Miami Hurricanes last Saturday, Notre Dame’s College Football Playoff hopes came crashing down.
The Fighting Irish have still had a fantastic season by any measure with an 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS record and both of their losses coming against two teams currently ranked in the top seven of the College Football Playoff rankings. But without a conference championship game at the end of the season and two losses on the resume, Notre Dame will have to set its sights on an at-large bid into a New Year’s Six bowl game.
In their last 14 games played in the month of November, the Fighting Irish are 5-9 SU and 3-11 ATS, per the OddsShark College Football Database.
Navy Midshipmen
The Navy Midshipmen snapped a three-game losing streak last Saturday with a 43-40 win over the SMU Mustangs. With the win and cover, Navy improved to 6-3 SU and 5-3-1 ATS.
Each of Navy’s last four games against Notre Dame has been decided by 17 points or less including last year’s 28-27 upset at home as 7-point underdogs. Navy will likely be without starting running back Malcolm Perry on Saturday as the sophomore sprained his ankle in the team’s win over SMU.
Saturday’s total is set at 59 points. The OVER is 6-1 in the last seven games between Navy and Notre Dame.
Navy ranks first in the nation in rushing yards, and Notre Dame isn’t far behind with the sixth-best rushing attack in the nation. Both teams will know what to expect from their opponent in a game that will be decided by the battles on the lines and one in which running backs and quarterbacks can make the biggest plays.
