The college football bowl game betting slate ramps up this week, starting on Tuesday night when the Florida Atlantic Owls take on the Akron Zips as huge favorites at the sportsbooks.


Florida Atlantic is a 23-point betting favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The midweek action continues with Louisiana Tech vs. SMU (-5) in the Frisco Bowl on Wednesday and Temple (-7) vs. Florida International in the Gasparilla Bowl on Thursday. Temple is 6-2 SU in its last eight games played on a Thursday and 4-0 ATS in its last four games against Conference USA opponents.
Two teams that did well for their backers this season meet in the Bahamas Bowl on Friday as the UAB Blazers face off against the Ohio Bobcats (-7.5). Both teams finished the regular season with 8-4 SU records while UAB held a slight edge ATS at 8-3-1 over Ohio’s 8-4. Ohio has lost its last two games but is 6-1 SU and ATS in its last seven games coming off of consecutive losses.
In the late game on Friday, Central Michigan and Wyoming (-3) meet in the Idaho Potato Bowl. The UNDER is 6-0 in Wyoming’s last six games per the OddsShark College Football Database.
Saturday’s college football betting card features a three-game slate of Texas Tech vs. South Florida (-2.5) in the Birmingham Bowl, San Diego State (-6.5) vs. Army in the Armed Forces Bowl, and Appalachian State vs. Toledo (-7.5) in the Dollar General Bowl.
