UFC Fight Night 104 odds: Bermudez betting favorite over Jung on Saturday night fight card

Dennis Bermudez has won nine of his last 11 fights including both of his two bouts in 2016. Bermudez will try to extend his winning streak to three fights with a win over “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC Fight Night 104 this Saturday.

Bermudez is a -200 betting favorite to win the main event in Houston at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This will be the first time that Chan Sung Jung (+160) has fought professionally in 1,279 days, last facing Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 163 in 2013 before spending the last two years serving his country.

Ring rust could be a major factor in this fight. The Korean Zombie had won each of his previous three fights to earn that title shot against Jose Aldo, and left the scene as a respected striker with solid takedown ability as well.

But facing a confident and well-rounded fighter like Bermudez, Jung can’t afford to have any issues with timing or decision making if he hopes to pull off the upset.

Alexa Grasso looked sharp in her UFC debut last November, picking up a decision win over Heather Clark to improve to 9-0 as a professional. The 23-year-old will face a tougher test this Saturday against veteran fighter Felice Herrig, who is 6-2 over her last eight fights and has a contrasting style to Grasso.

Grasso is a -300 favorite to win this fight, and her strong striking ability should give her the edge in this one. Herrig (+230) is dangerous on the mat however, and will try to be the first to give Grasso a real test on the ground as a professional.

Saint Preux has lost each of his last two fights and three of his last four since going 15-2 over his previous 17 bouts. He’ll have a chance to get back on track against Volkan Oezdemir, who is 12-1 as a professional and making his UFC debut.
