The Florida State Seminoles finished a respectable 10-3 straight up and 8-5 against the spread last year, picking up their fifth straight double-digit win season. The Seminoles will try to earn a sixth straight such season as well as an ACC championship this year.
ACC football championship odds 2017: Florida State favored over Clemson
The Florida State Seminoles will try to hold off Clemson, Miami, and Louisville for the ACC championship and are the betting favorite at the sportsbooks.

Florida State is a +110 favorite on the odds to win the ACC championship at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Blue-chip prospect Cam Akers looks ready to pick up where Delvin Cook left off in the running game, and quarterback Deondre Francois should take a big step forward with a year of experience under his belt.

Clemson (+300 to win the ACC Championship) won’t have the luxury of experience at quarterback with Deshaun Watson off to the NFL. The Tigers also lost their starting running back and top two receivers from last year’s championship winning team.
Dabo Sweeney has recruited exceptionally well at Clemson and should keep his team in the mix even in a rebuilding year, but the Tigers will have to avoid growing pains if they hope to win the division title again.
The Miami Hurricanes (+600) enjoyed a 9-4 SU and ATS season in their first year under new head coach Mark Richt. Richt appears to have this young team on the right track, and a favorable schedule outside of an early road game against Florida State could give the Hurricanes a chance to build on last season’s success.
Before crumbling with an 0-3 SU and ATS run to end the season, the Louisville Cardinals (+600) were 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS and looked like legitimate championship contenders thanks to the sensational play of Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Jackson’s return to Louisville gives the team a chance of winning any game the Cardinals play, but the same team weaknesses that were exposed last season will still be issues this year.
Other teams that could play their way into the mix for the ACC title this season include Virginia Tech (+700), NC State (+2500), North Carolina (+2500), and Georgia Tech (+3300).
