The USC Trojans ended the 2016 season on a 9-0 straight up and 7-2 against the spread run. With a favorable schedule and a returning superstar at quarterback, the Trojans look poised for a special season in 2017.
Pac-12 championship odds 2017: Favorite USC looks to build on strong finish
The USC Trojans are the betting favorites at the sportsbooks to win the Pac-12 Championship for the first time since 2008, leading Washington, Stanford, and UCLA.

USC is a -110 favorite to win the Pac-12 Championship at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The Trojans opened the 2016 season with a 1-3 SU and ATS record, but the switch at quarterback to freshman Sam Darnold helped spark a remarkable run for the rest of the season. The Heisman Trophy contender passed for 31 touchdowns and 3,086 yards last year and should lead one of the nation’s most dangerous offenses again this year.
With Washington not on the regular season schedule and potentially tough games against Stanford, Texas, and UCLA all coming at home, USC should control its own destiny this season.
Pac-12 Championship Betting Odds
USC -110
Washington +180
Stanford +800
UCLA +900
Washington State +1600
Oregon +1600
Utah +3300
Colorado +3300
Arizona State +5000
Arizona +10000
Oregon State +10000
California +50000
The Washington Huskies (+180 to win the Pac-12 Championship) also benefit from not having to face the Trojans during the regular season. Washington advanced into the College Football Playoff with a 12-1 SU and 7-6 ATS record last season before hitting a wall in a 24-7 loss against Alabama.
The Huskies’ only loss came to USC last season, and these two seem set for a collision course in the Pac-12 title game as the clear favorites to win the Pac-12 North and Pac-12 South, respectively.
Of course, college football often doesn’t go according to plan. The Stanford Cardinal (+800) and UCLA Bruins (+900) will try to play spoiler in the Pac-12.
Stanford has won the Pac-12 Championship three times in the last five seasons, and Head Coach David Shaw has led the team to at least 10 wins in all but one of his six seasons including last year’s 10-3 SU and 7-6 ATS campaign.
Shaw won’t have the talent at the disposal of Washington and USC, but he will continue to get the most out of his team and be a tough out with strong physical play.
Other potential contenders in the Pac-12 include Washington State (+1600), Oregon (+1600), Utah (+3300), and Colorado (+3300). Colorado advanced to the Pac-12 Championship Game last season and finished the year with a 10-4 SU and ATS record.
