After failing to cover the spread as 42.5-point favorites against Fresno State last Saturday, the Crimson Tide are going off as big chalk again this week hosting the Colorado State Rams.
Other than Clemson vs. Louisville, most top teams are huge favorites in Week 3
The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are one of the biggest favorites at the sportsbooks for this week.


Alabama is a 28-point home favorite on the college football betting lines in Tuscaloosa at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Colorado State is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games as a betting underdog including a 3-0 ATS record as a double-digit dog.
The Oklahoma Sooners pulled off an impressive upset over the Ohio State Buckeyes last Saturday going into Columbus and coming away with a 31-16 win as 7-point underdogs. This Saturday, both teams will have a much easier slate as Oklahoma is a 34-point favorite at home against Tulane and Ohio State is going off at -30 at home against Army.
Oklahoma is 12-1 SU and 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games at home including a current run of 5-0 SU and ATS.

The Big 12 race will likely come down to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State this season, and both teams hope to make it to their showdown in November unscathed. The Cowboys face a road test this Saturday as 13.5-point favorites taking on the Pittsburgh Panthers. Oklahoma State is 10-1 SU and 8-3 ATS over its last 11 games per the OddsShark College Football Database.
With Miami at Florida State postponed due to Hurricane Irma, only two games on the schedule in Week 3 remain between two ranked teams. Those are Tennessee at Florida (-5.5) and Clemson (-2.5) at Louisville. Since Louisville joined the ACC in 2014, the Cardinals are 0-3 SU in three games against Clemson. Tennessee is just 1-11 SU in its last 12 games against the Gators.
Rounding out this week’s top games, the Michigan Wolverines are 26-point favorites at home against Air Force and the USC Trojans are 17-point favorites at home against Texas. USC is just 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS in its last eight games played in September.
