Stanford Cardinal

The Cardinal entered the 2017 season ranked No. 14 in both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Poll, and they did nothing to suggest their placement was unjustified in blowing out Rice 62-7 in Australia.

But since then, things have quickly gone downhill for Stanford. The team lost 42-24 as a trendy upset pick as 4-point underdogs at USC and followed that up with a 20-17 loss as 8.5-point road favorites at San Diego State. The Cardinal finally return home on Sunday where they are 25-5 SU over their last 30 games.

Week 4 has been a strong week for Stanford in recent seasons. The Cardinal are a perfect 6-0 SU and ATS in their last six Week 4 games, per the OddsShark College Football Database.

UCLA Bruins

Josh Rosen has been nothing short of sensational through the first three games of UCLA’s season, passing for 1,283 yards and 13 touchdowns with just two interceptions. Unfortunately for the Bruins, Rosen’s dominance in the passing game can’t mask a horrific defense that has already been riddled with injuries.

The Bruins have surrendered a staggering 515 yards and 38.3 points per game this season, including last Saturday’s 48-45 road loss to Memphis.

Saturday’s total is set at 57 points. The OVER is 3-0 in UCLA’s last three games and 5-2 in Stanford’s last seven.

Even after losing to USC, Stanford can still find its way into the Pac-12 title picture with key games against Oregon and Washington coming at home this season. The Cardinal likely can’t afford any more slipups however, and Josh Rosen’s pass attack will assure that Stanford’s home opener is no walk in the park.
