The New York City FC are the only team in the MLS to open the 2018 season with a perfect 3-0-0 record. That record will be put to the test this Saturday on the road against the New England Revolution.
2018 MLS odds: Betting lines for weekend include NYC FC as road underdog
New York City FC will try to keep its perfect record intact with a road win over New England, with the Revolution getting the nod on the odds at the sportsbooks.

New York City is a +180 road underdog in New England at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. These two clubs split their season series 1-1-1 last year with New York City FC losing 2-1 in its one trip to Foxborough. New England (+145 to win, +240 to draw) is unbeaten in its last nine home games with an 8-0-1 record over that stretch.
The Columbus Crew are also undefeated through their first three games of MLS play with a 2-0-1 record thus far. Columbus is a -170 favorite at home on Saturday against D.C. United (+425 to win, +310 to draw). United is still looking for its first win of the season after going 0-1-2 through its first three games.
The Colorado Rapids and Portland Timbers will also be looking for their first wins of the season this Saturday. Colorado has played in only one game in 2018, a 2-1 road loss to New England back on March 10. The Rapids are a small favorite at home going off at +160 hosting Sporting Kansas City (+180 to win, +220 to draw). Kansas City is just 1-6 in its last seven league games against the Rapids.
Portland has the worst goal differential in the MLS through its first two games at -5, giving up six goals while scoring only one while slipping to +1800 on the 2018 MLS Cup odds. The Timbers are a +350 road underdog on Saturday squaring off against FC Dallas (-130 to win, +280 to draw). Dallas is 1-0-1 through its first four games.
Rounding out this Saturday’s MLS action are the New York Red Bulls (-275) vs. Minnesota United (+700 to win, +400 to draw) and the Vancouver Whitecaps (-165) vs. Los Angeles Galaxy (+450 to win, +300 to draw). As an expansion team last season, Minnesota hosted the Red Bulls and got throttled in a 3-0 home loss. Things could get ugly in New York, where the Red Bulls are 5-0-4 over their last nine regular season home games.
