MLS odds 2018: New York City FC betting underdogs facing Atlanta United this weekend

The New York City FC has the most points in the MLS standings at 16 with an undefeated record of 5-0-1 through six matches. The club will get its toughest test of the season this Sunday night on the road against Atlanta United.

New York City FC is a +270 road underdog in Atlanta at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Atlanta United is a -110 favorite at home with draw odds on the game paying +275. This is a clash between the top two teams in the East as Atlanta United has soared up the standings with four straight wins since losing its first game of the season. Atlanta has scored 13 goals over its last four matches while surrendering only two.

Sporting Kansas City is off to a 4-1-1 start to the season and is 4-0-1 since picking up a loss to New York FC in its first game of the season. In addition to looking for their first win of the season, the Sounders are also looking for their first goal of the season after being held scoreless through their first three matches.
