Manchester City is on the road this Saturday to take on Tottenham in this weekend’s top match, with the sportsbooks setting a tight betting line for the contest.

This match is going off as a virtual pick’em with Manchester City favored ever so slightly at +155 over Tottenham Hotspur at +160 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Draw odds on this match are going off at +255.
Even after last weekend’s loss to its top rival, Manchester City still holds a 13-point lead over Manchester United in the English Premier League standings. City still has a virtual lock on the league championship, but would prefer not to keep any doomsday scenarios alive with another loss this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur is playing far better now than it was when Manchester City defeated the club 4-1 at home back in December. Since that loss, Tottenham is undefeated with an 11-0-3 record including a current stretch of six straight wins. The Spurs have given up only three goals over this six-match win streak that includes wins over Arsenal and Chelsea. Tottenham has won its last two home games against Manchester City.
Should Manchester City slip up with another loss, Manchester United would be in prime position to gain more ground in its improbable quest to overtake its cross-town rival. Manchester United is a -575 favorite on Sunday hosting West Bromwich Albion (+1600 to win, +575 to draw). Since starting off the season with a 2-0 record, West Brom has fallen to the bottom of the table with a 1-18-12 record over its last 31 matches.
AFC Bournemouth has an unenviable week of action coming up in the Premier League. On Saturday, the club is a +1100 underdog (and +575 to force a draw) on the road against Liverpool (-475). Liverpool is undefeated at home this season with a 10-0-6 record and beat Bournemouth 4-0 the last time these two teams met in December.
Four days later, Bournemouth hosts Manchester United as a +425 home underdog on Wednesday. Manchester United is going off at -160 to win on the road while a draw would pay +305.
