New York City FC’s undefeated 5-0-2 start to the season came to an unceremonious end in last Sunday’s loss to Portland. The team will look for a better result this week at home, where they are 3-0 this season and have outscored their opponents, 7-1.
After New York City’s loss last week, Atlanta United moved to within one point of the lead for the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a game still in hand.
