With New York City FC falling to the Portland Timbers 3-0 on the road last Sunday, FC Dallas is the last remaining undefeated team in the MLS with a 3-0-3 record. That mark will be put to the test Sunday on the road against New York City.

FC Dallas is a +340 underdog to win outright and going off at +285 to force a draw in New York at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The club has been sensational on defense this season allowing only three goals through its first six matches. The defense will face a New York City offense on Sunday that is averaging two goals a game.

New York City FC’s undefeated 5-0-2 start to the season came to an unceremonious end in last Sunday’s loss to Portland. The team will look for a better result this week at home, where they are 3-0 this season and have outscored their opponents, 7-1.

After New York City’s loss last week, Atlanta United moved to within one point of the lead for the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a game still in hand. With an impressive 2-0 win on the road over the Los Angeles Galaxy, Atlanta improved to 5-1-1 on the season and has outscored its opponents 17-4 over its current 5-0-1 run.

Atlanta United, sitting among the favorites on the odds to win the 2018 MLS Cup, is the biggest favorite on the board this week going off at -280 at home on Saturday against the Montreal Impact (+700 to win, +400 to draw)

While the top two teams in the East are big favorites at home this weekend, the top team in the West will be facing a difficult test on the road. Sporting Kansas City (+185 to win, +240 to draw) is unbeaten in its last seven matches with a record of 5-0-2 and has picked up clean sheets in three of its last four wins, including a 6-0 blowout over Vancouver last Friday.

On Saturday, Kansas City visits the New England Revolution (+140). New England is a modest 3-2-2 this season but is always a threat at home with a 20-4-5 record in its last 19 matches at Gillette Stadium.
