It's official: Internazionale have sent out a press release stating that Massimo Moratti has sold his shares in Inter Milan, with International Sports Capital buying up a 70 percent majority share. The company is indirectly owned by Indonesian businessmen Erick Thohir, Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo -- confirming the rumors that have been swirling around for the past month that Thohir was set to buy the Italian club.
International Sports Capital, Erick Thohir buy majority stake of Inter Milan
The sale is complete and confirmed: Massimo Moratti has sold his majority stake in Internazionale, with a trio of prominent Indonesian businessmen buying up 70 percent.

What might change for Inter? Probably not much, although fans might be hoping for greater investment in players, particularly after last season’s results, combined with a summer that saw very few new faces coming in. Fortunately for the interisti, Thohir counts himself as one of them:
“I am an entrepreneur, but first of all I am a supporter and a sports lover. I cannot wait to put our passion and international experience at the service of this fantastic Club and its supporters.”
The 43-year-old also has experience in ownership, being a part-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and, perhaps a more relevant connection, a part-owner of MLS club D.C. United.
Just don’t go checking the Major League Soccer standings, Inter fans.
