Turns out if you use talented youngsters and allow your team to attack, you just might win a match. Who would've thought, Walter Mazzarri? Of course, it helped that Inter had a man advantage for 70 minutes.
Sampdoria vs. Inter, final score 0-4: Fights, cards and goals, oh my!
Missed penalties, red cards, fisticuffs and plenty of goals -- this match had it all.

The first half between Sampdoria and Inter had it all: goals, red cards, a missed penalty, even a fight. Of course, that's not all that surprising when you consider that it's Maxi Lopez and Mauro Icardi that were squaring off. Oh, for the love of Wanda...
Of course, it was Icardi that got things started off, giving Inter the lead before 15 minutes were out. He got on the end of a ball from Rodrigo Palacio and volleyed in at the near post. Junior Da Costa tried to smother it, but the ball wiggled into the back of the net.
Then Icardi, who’s not winning any “Most Charming Man” awards soon, used his goal celebration to encourage the Sampdoria fans to insult him. Instead, the Samp keeper lunged at him and had to be held back.
Then came Maxi Lopez's time in the spotlight. The scorned lover didn't do himself any favors, missing a penalty handed to Sampdoria after Andrea Ranocchia brought down Daniele Gastaldello. Samir Handanović saved easily, however.
The craziness continued when Éder was booked for simulation, even though it appeared he was tripped up by Rolando. For some reason the forward went after Walter Samuel and Handanović, earning himself another yellow and a sending off. Strangely enough, no punches were thrown between Icardi and Maxi Lopez.
Alas, fisticuffs between the two never materialized, and no appointment was made for pistols at dawn. The most that happened in the second half was a whole lotta goals.
Inter, being Inter, waited until the hour mark to double their advantage. Da Costa did well to keep out a shot from Palacio, but a resulting corner from Hernanes led to a header from a leaping Samuel. And that was it for Sampdoria.
Three minutes later, a through ball from Mateo Kovačić released Palacio, who rolled it across the face of goal. A simple tap and Icardi had his brace.
Mazzarri thought it might be wise to remove Icardi before a Sampdoria player broke him in half, so on came Ricky Álvarez. Ten minutes later, he provided the assist for Inter’s fourth. Álvarez held up the ball, giving Palacio the chance to race down the left and smash in the final goal.
