Two of Serie’s most in-form sides meet on Friday, kicking off Round 35. Someone’s extended winning streak is going to come to a screeching halt. But whose?
Roma vs. Milan: Preview and TV Schedule

In one corner we have Roma, the hosts of the footballing festivities. Since losing to Napoli back at the beginning of March, the giallorossi have won eight straight, including last week’s hard-fought battle against fourth-placed Fiorentina. They’ve still got a chance at the scudetto, sitting eight games back of Juventus, so they’ll be prepared to fight for all three points - but if the points don’t come, there’s likely few tears that will be shed. After all, Roma are working with a patched together defense, they’re without one of their most solid midfielders and their top scorer is still suspended. Besides, they’ve already clinched their spot in the group stages of next season’s Champions League.
In the opposite corner, up steps Milan. This is a side that no one thought would come anywhere close to Europe, but after five straight wins, they’re sitting just behind sixth, even on points with Parma. Even more impressively, Clarence Seedorf has managed to tighten up what had previously been one of the most laughable defenses in the league - all while still using Philippe Mexès at centerback. Less impressively, Milan’s last four wins have come against sides in the bottom quarter of the table.
