Kansas City (Name To Be Announced) Stadium Porn

To many outside observers, the insistence of having a Kansas City MLS team has never made a lot of sense. The teams that have played there have never drawn particularly well, they’ve never drawn a lot of interest from outside the area and it doesn’t seem to be a particularly vital TV market.

↵That all looks like it might just change when the Wizards finally get a stadium all their own next season. If the reaction of fans is to be judged, this might just be the soccer palace Midwesterners have been waiting for.

↵The team will almost certainly be undergoing some kind of massive rebranding, and it’s hard to blame them. This really does like it’s a new beginning, and maybe even a better reason to visit Kansas than barbecue.
