Wizards’ Playoff Hopes Still Alive After 2-0 Victory
Davy Arnaud and Teal Bunburry scored to keep the season interesting at least until the weekend. The Wizards will play at New England on Saturday before hosting San Jose on the season’s final weekend. They’ll need to win both of those matches and for Real Salt Lake to lose at Los Angeles and at home to Real Salt Lake.
As a side note, the Wizards would set the MLS record for highest point total to miss the playoffs if they were to win out and still not make it in.
