Manchester City-Newcastle: Hatem Ben Arfa At Local Manchester Hospital

According to the ESPN (UK) broadcast of today’s Manchester City-Newcastle match, Hatem Ben Arfa has been taken to a local Manchester hospital, presumably for treatment and evaluation of his injured ankle.

Ben Arfa had to be removed from Sunday’s match in the seventh minute after a Nigel de Jong tackle left the French attacker with an injured ankle.

He was replaced by Wayne Routledge.
