Manchester United 2-1 Wolves: Ji-Sung Park Saves United With Late Winner

Ji-Sung Park has saved United near the last possible second when he scored the winner at Old Trafford. In what started out a relatively dull match then turned into quite the exciting finish. Wolves will feel cheated by the result, they did enough as a side where they should have earned a point, but Park's late strike in stoppage time canceled out their incredible effort at the death.

When pressed and late on, United began to finally play their best football of the day. Scholes inclusion to the side gave United a few more solid chances when his passing was able to create space for others. Darren Fletcher also put in a decent performance from midfield, but United will surely soon want their starters back into the squad.

The three points snatched by United will please Sir Alex Ferguson who was left with a few difficult choices to make concerning his starting XI before the match. As this season’s first Manchester derby approaches on Wednesday, Ferguson will hope he has a few more first choice players to call upon for such an important match.
